hi, i am in yr 10 rn, and i applied for sbhs year 11 entry for 2026. i did the exam, it consisted of a maths paper, english paper, physics, as well as a chemistry paper. lowkey i feel like i bombed the phys and chem because they asked some yr 11 content and i was just really tired tbh. on the day, i had a doctors certificate claiming that i will be unfit for school and i also played in the state softball tournament, then i had to commute all the way to sydney boys to do the test.

i currently go to a fully selective school, and the juniors (year 8 students) are telling me that they have received interview offers. i think that i got rejected because i bombed the test 😭, i am still yet to recieve any outcome letter on anything tho. if i get rejected is it worth it to appeal this process due to my circumstances,i am so sad becuse ive always wanted to go to sbhs 😭
yo bro same my friend got a rejection letter sent to him but another one of my friends got an offer to attend an interview but i still havent recieved anything (we all applied for the same yr) so dw that js means that you still have a chance cause youre not officially rejected. Also sickness/tiredness cant really be used to appeal you can only really appeal if the school board didnt follow their own critea or you believe you've been discriminated agaisnt or som but that rarely happens

Can't u appeal if ur mentally unwell? I think u can (ill double check) n since he wasn't feeling well on the day wouldn't that affect his mental well-being (like oh im too sick I can't do this or something like that?)
