I just finished all my prelim exams, should I start studying for yr12 or continue learning the year r11 stuff cause I feel like it wont be worth it since it wont be assessed.

I would recommend that you don't rule out your Year 11 content, as depending on the subjects you are doing, they will most likely count as Assumed Knowledge for your Year 12 course. Take a break first, health is key!!

Before moving onto Year 12 content, I advise that you make sure your fundamentals in Year 11 are strong or you may struggle, especially for conceptual based subjects like the Sciences and Mathematics.

take a break and dont get burnt out before y12. if you really want to study ahead you can focus on your weaknesses in y11 concepts that can be directly assessable in y12 as well, e.g. math (i actually don't reccommend revising y11 sciences very thoroughly unless you don't understand the theory of it all bc they don't directly show up in your actual exams but they are more like context, same goes for english and a lot of other subjects). but yeah you should still take it easy.

also imo studying everything that you'll learn next term may help you get ahead, but it may or may not give you an edge over someone that doesnt study ahead but grinds during the term and pays attention in class. i have seen this time and time again in my very own cohort. my point is if youre just bored do smth fun and dont grind out y12 content bc it may not be as beneficial as you think.

also ik im in your grade but im talking from the perspective of someone that accelerates and is in y12

yes you dont - focus on y11 concepts that directly impact smth you will learn in y12.

also i forgot to mention this but you could check out the y12 syllabus for your courses and tick off dot points and topics as you go through the year. it helped for me bc my teacher just totally missed some dot points that may or may not show up on my hsc and it helped me cover those on my own so im not screwed

I don't do science or math at all, I do all humanities and want to continue them in year 12 and they're so content-heavy, I just wanted to get some content outta the way but idk now 😪 I listened throughout the year and got like B level grades, I didn't do amazing in yr11 but I'm praying yr12 carries, that's why I wanted to do work now and slowly throughout the weeks. Since it will be pointless to do the work after exam block is over, I probably wont do it unless the teacher mentions it will be in yr12. I need to get that competitive edge over the naturally smart people 💪💪

omg what atomi offers humanities???

anyways i can't lie i relate to you about needing to get an edge over the smart kids and having content heavy subjects. yeah go off and do study but make sure you take breaks, do smth fun, go out with friends or smth if you can. don't burn out completely or you'll regret it

also is atomi worth investing in for history or english or whatever??? i tend to hate it for maths and i find kind of useful for sciences. but my stem subjects are what im more naturally good at and i need smth to help for eng and modern. if you use it for those pls let me know
