Hi all
I have my business studies trials in 3 weeks its on everything but finance I have kind of neglected business studies and its one of my weaker subject I need to get ready for this exam asap but I dont know where to start I have made my own operation notes but I am going to download ones for the other topics. How should I approach this? thank you

the way i do it is kinda weird assuming u haven't made the notes u probably don't know the content, so i would read the online notes and make handwritten summaries and cram them. then memorise the whole syllabus back to front and try and write it down until u can basically be asked anything and ur able to waffle about all the points (revisit whatever u forget) and rinse and repeat till u get it pat down. Then trial papers till ur done

Ik this advice is contradictory to what a lot of ppl say about spamming as many past papers, but i belive for HSIE memorising the content is soo much more important than past papers

Either or doesn’t matter but it just needs to sound reasonable, for instance if ur talking about a specific strategy and u use McDonald’s u can waffle about how it increased their revenue generation by 2% in Q2 of 2023 (made up) but u can’t say it boosted revenue generation by 200% ykwim

I haven’t done business trials yet, but I’ve used it in all my other assessments and it’s worked. So hopefully trials isn’t any different.

U should never really need a case study except essays to start with sometimes in Section 2 they ask u to but it’s very very very rare

u do NOT need case studies in reports NEVER. Only refer to the scenario the have given u if it includes some stats use them otherwise don’t

studocu has some really good resources that are grouped by topic and have answers for mcq and short answer, i find these to be the most helpful thing to do with business!

def reccommend doing those nesa multiple choice quizzes its an easy way to revise the content
