How is everyone picking their future uni degrees/life plans/career options, im hella stressing and feeling like im throwing a dart blindly and picking wherever it lands. I have zero passions/interests that will make me money. I've got some sensible ideas but I'm not super interested in them, I'm not uninterested I just don't know if I want to spend the rest of my life doing it 😭. I'm so stuck and the deadline is getting closer, how are you guys doing it?

ive always had an interest in environmental science, i ended up kinda narrowing my choices down based on if i thought i could be passionate about the subject for life, if it would fit me well and if i would burn out, and if it would pay well.

some people just dont know what theyre going to do. i think it may be better for you to do a gap year and try do a couple of apprenticeships related to the careers youre interested in eg; for environmental science you may want to volunteer with forest replanting

relatable honestly, had that crisis a couple days ago and still figuring it out. Plans have definitely changed and I think I have a better plan going forward. You'll figure it out, I believe

same here but private schools usually buy the cssa paper which is the catholic trial paper its about 5 weeks away thats why I asked
oh yes thats right, i did an accelerated subject last year but our paper wasnt cssa but im not sure about my other subjects, they haven't mentioned anything about it being cssa so i assume it wouldn't be

Is gatekeeping worth it? Or should I help out my peers? idk kinda confused
honestly for trials, gatekeep LMAO apart from trusted close friends ofc ahaha
BUT when it comes to the actual HSC exam, share as much as you can bc unless ur rank 1st for everything you want to take home a good mark even if your rank is quite low + if your whole cohort does well then scaling goes up more for your specific school

guys tips for pdhpe and legal for trials ong im so scared
I do legal also so scared haha the content is soooo intense and i bet pe is too. for me im doing human rights and crime revision this holidays, i have flashcards made up from past assessments so will mostly use them and maybe add more depending what im writing about.
for electives we still have a few dot points left for our 2nd elective family, so not heaps to revise yet for that but at least the whole subject is in the same boat. (we r only tested on some of syllabus due to timing but is what it is)
our other elective world order is done i will prob revise LCDMI and main key content points. dont want to overwhelm yourself too much so you blank and forget in the exam, but also dont want to not know enough - so try to get happy medium.
hope this helps good luck in your trial! legal is my last trial of the exams so that will be so fun...not haha but its all good

I haven't even started trial preparation yet. I have a bit of elbow room with my ranking for my subjects (besides English) so I hope that if I do bomb, it isn't by a large margin.
