Hi guys, I am just wondering is there a way I can specialise in eaching geography and economics if I wanna do b of education in usyd,
cuz according to my friend, she said geo is under science category in usyd, so If I wanna teach geo I will have to teach another science/maths subject.
so is there anyway I can teach eco and geo? probably do a double degree or smth like that?

Otherwise, is there any uni offering this combo cuz I checked it and I don't think unsw or usyd or mq is offering this combo;-;

You will have to do a double degree

Most teachers at my school usually just majored in one field but while they were working/found a job they went back to uni to learn another field. Some just got Graduate certificates and it was fine tho

tbh just ask @jimmysmith560 to help you lol he probs will get the answers but thats my personal knowledge of interacting with teachers

Thanks!! I will ask jimmy about it hahah but ur response is also appreciated:)
yeah its what my biology/geography teacher did, work as a biology teacher for like 3 years, went back to uni and did some geography course (not sure if degree or cert) and then came back and taught geography. our school is top 100 as well so seems like its a valid option if they accepted her

edit- she didnt 'come back' since she just stepped down to junior science then started and continued with the geography thing
