yes please. give us HR in essay so we can just ignore it and choose the other question
its looking like there will be hr business report tho, i feel everyone will struggle with it
i feel like this year would be marketing/finance so i wanna kms but yea

Hey guys is the higher the gearing, the better? What is an ideal gearing ratio?

damn i really hope we don't have to choose between finance and marketing q in the essay but somehow i feel like that'll be the choice since there was HR and operations last year 😭😭

the lower the gearing, the better, and ideal ratio is usually like 0.5:1 but u usually compare to the industry average given in the q

that’s what I was thinking but why is it d? Or is it because more debt means businesses are investing in their business?

There was HR 3 TIMES SIMILAR QUESTIONS but I don’t know if they would do 4th time in a row

gearing is total debt/ total equity, so in the data u do 7000/3000 = 233%, u can see its gotten worse since 2013

150% to industry average of 100%, industry is better
Ohhh i see now I forgot i had to use the equity formula to calculate it too
