Explain how satire is used to communicate the cartoonist’s social commentary. (4 marks)
View attachment 40375
ok so i get that its satire but what techniques...can i say the vector of the ppl walking draws readers to the 'regular path', which contrasts to the man in the background who has his unique approach of life idek but that's only 1 point
The author communicates his perspective through the satrical dissonance between the beggar and the crowd, who move past him without consideration. The positioning of the beggar, standing perpendicular to the flow of society, illustrates how those who are unwilling to partake in the collective human experience of society are ostricised in favour of remaining dissonant and content, as represented by the footpath. Instead, lateral beliefs are relegated to the alleyways of society and culture, left to struggle and depend on the support of those in similar positions, who are the only people aware of their existence.

motif of walking to move on from past experiences and find meaning and fulfilment...um maybe something like the footprints represent the past and through looking at our past footprints (i.e. our past actions), we can find meaning & fulfilment in our complex lives and reflect on how to accel as an individual

STANDARD SHOULD BE ANALYSING PICTURES AND THATS IT NOT LONG ASS TEXTS WHERE IT TAKES ME 13 MINUTES TO READ AND FIND A TECHNIQUE WHICH ENDS UP BEING REPETITION
