I have a 1000 word essay (suppose to be in 40 mins) and a 500 word discursive (in 20 mins).

Try writing them out at full speed, if it takes more than an hour then shorten your price or increase your writing speed until you can do it in an hour.

yes very realistic, in 40 minutes alone you should be aiming close to 1100

Don't focus on word count. Just write the essay and focus on answering the question without a pre-prepared response.
