BoS meet up (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

With the HSC exams almost done, I want to see if there is any interest in having an in-person meet up event.

For background, this was something that used to happen regularly many years ago on BoS, which helped build a strong sense of community and even some friendships amongst peers. It was also great to meet real people behind the usernames!

Was thinking of bringing this sorta thing back in recent years but the pandemic kept disrupting everything. This time around, if there is enough interest, I am prepared to organise something.

FYI this is not restricted to the class of 2022 by the way, this is also open to any BoS user including past and present students.

Update: For those who are serious about coming on the 18th of December (most likely during the day), please post here and/or send me a PM. I will then create a private group convo where specific details like time and place will be sorted out.

PS: will make sure our resident celebrity @jimmysmith560 makes an appearance if this goes ahead

Hopefully there will be both options, (I know it’s not an actual ‘full on’ event, but it could be easily arranged by one of us going.).

Any preferences for type of activity? Thinking of doing it around early to mid-December.

If there are less than 10 people coming we can probably keep it low key with like a lunch/dinner outing + some activity perhaps?

If it’s more like 10+ people actually coming then maybe something like a BBQ at a park is warranted…

In the past we used to do either outdoor BBQ, arcade games, bowling, pool, movies to name a few for ideas.

I think getting a google form with an EOI which can include preferred times and days and activities would be good
