Literally as the title says.

I know finance is a very popular destination and most of the people who did mechanical (and similar) streams goes there.

However, I want to know of other options that are relatively common because I hate finance (experience from Year 9-10 commerce).

Thank you,

Isn’t that literally Engineering?
Nope, consulting is much more broad. It could be any kind of consulting really, eg management consulting. Even in my line of work which started off in banking regulatory work we have engineers since the skillset can be used in a very different way whether it be process engineering or trying to work through potential levers in building a model to help solve an issue/challenge.
