i just ran a few numbers, excluding last names starting with l, 1225 people got a e4 in x2 maths, b6: 900 something in chem, 903 in phys, 703 in economics.
2020:
1224 mx2
1009 phys
1354 chem

hscninja

if we do a 26/25 * number for 2021 u compiled:
1274 mx2
988 chem using 950
939 phys

interesting. seems like the calc based chem exam yielded (lower aligning?) a lot lower number of b6s. mx2 surprisingly increased, i guess aligning must have been op. phys slight dip also very interesting considering 2020 test seemed harder.

i thought chem was generally considered a much harder test. it's interesting that the aligning seems to be apparently worse. i would expect some mega scaling this yr for chem haha.

1.3k -> 900 seems insane.

is it possible fewer students sat chemistry & physics in 2021?? Perhaps the fact that lockdown periods were so extended affected learning in these subjects (which have a greater practical component than other subjects), so students dropped these subjects in favour of subjects that were easier to manage during lockdown???

would that account for the absence of 400 band 6's though?

How hard was the chem test this year? I did last years and it was one of the hardest ones they've done.
