Which uni is better for Law?
any particular reasons?
wsumaq because obviously
i'll fight u
dont hate on your future unii'll fight u
UTS is considered better for law, more well known among big law firms and considered to have a better more advanced law faculty. They also partner with UNSW law a lot (I mean after all AustLii is jointly run by UNSW and UTS law)Which uni is better for Law?
Both like 20 mins awayWhat's the travel time like for both of them?/Are you planning to combine it with anything?
uni rankings literally dont mean shit. no one looks at them no one cares about them and most importantly they are arbitrary asf (they are based on research paper output, not very reliable as say hsc rankings)Doesnt the uni reputation matter more so for employability in the law sector? in that respect i guess Maq is relatively better (according to uni rankings)
idk apparently it matters for law and law only for some weird dumb reasonuni rankings literally dont mean shit. no one looks at them no one cares about them and most importantly they are arbitrary asf (they are based on research paper output, not very reliable as say hsc rankings)
surely there's some correlation between uni ranking and employability in some sectors with some employers favouring higher ranking unisuni rankings literally dont mean shit. no one looks at them no one cares about them
some private schools force smart students to do easy subjects and thereby increase their band 6 ratenot very reliable as say hsc rankings
Oh yeha I agree but uni rankings are even worse in terms of being gamed/riggedsurely there's some correlation between uni ranking and employability in some sectors with some employers favouring higher ranking unis

the (unofficial) hsc ranking system can be gamed to benefit a school's reputation and image
