Currently i’m doing physics but for the longest time (during the holidays) I wanted to just do chemistry and drop physics for another subject. However, so many people seem to do two sciences and seem to love physics. So I don’t know whether it was because my tutor taught me badly, so should i wait it out (I have a pretty good teacher at school, from previous experiences) and jeopardise a spot and crucial time in another subject or not.

If I do change I plan to choose ancient history but that would mean im taking both histories. I’m quite keen on both histories but its just the workload such as the amount of essays I would have to write. So anyone doing both or dropped one when doing both please help me pick :).

Honestly with my subjects i was planning to pick two sciences to get a better range in uni. But people say that i could easily learn physics content without doing it in highschool is this true?

I also could potentially drop this subject to get down to 10 units anyways? Maybe though. Is it more beneficial to drop to 10?

sorry if its all over the place this had been really stressing me out.

You're in Year 11? Envious.

How long do you have to choose between the two
Well i would want to choose asap just so that i dont waste time on content i might miss but my school is pretty lenient with usually a cut off of 5 weeks into a course with the exception of some special cases

Yep so i only had a day of school aha
Oh, apologies, when I thought you've worked on Physics, I thought you worked ahead like completed all modules 5-8 because no one I know really did work for the Year 10 holidays.

Oh I did physics tutoring during yr 10 it started early that’s why (i did it just to see how i liked it) And from that experience I disliked it a lot compared to chemistry. But I don’t know if it’s wise for me to choose another subject

Just know that Year 12 Physics is harder than Year 11 Physics :)

So keep it just grind it out.

I enjoyed year 12 physics more than year 11 physics, like a lot more, so I guess read up on the year 12 topics and see if you'll like them.
