need help for subject selections (1 Viewer)

would doing physics + chem + engineering increase the burden in prelim + hsc years??????

i wouldnt mind any advice/tips.

btw, im aspiring to do either computer science or pharmaceutical science or any of the engineering cores in uni

I think doing ext 1 or ext 2 math would help more for eng/comp sci than any of those, physics would prob pretty good but I don't think it's required and you would prob be able to catch up on it very easily if you did ext 2 math. From ppl at my school, engineering studies sucks but I don't know for sure. Make sure to check what/if any subjects give bonus points to the courses you want to do (pretty sure ext 2 math gives a lot for comp sci or eng), if you get enough subjects like that and get good marks you might be able to sandbag english and still go to a top rank uni.

Personally, I think that one should try to broaden their horizons in high school instead of narrowing it down. U will likely cover engineering studies content in uni anyways if u do an engineering degree, so you might as well learn something random or interesting.
