Best way to express working for ratio questions (1 Viewer)

I am able to solve the questions involving ratios, such as;

Two moons have masses M and 4m and radii R and 4R respectively. Compare their acceleration due to gravity.

How best should I set out my working for these?

I think you just gotta write, for example:

Fe/ge = Fm/gm if you're using a ratio involving F = mg or you can even just say me = mj (e is Earth and j is Jupiter - subscripts) then Fe/ge = Fj/gj and go from there
