Hi,

Can someone please go through the following question, every time i go through it, there is an error as when you rearrange the equation so you can sub in the y values, there is a minus value in the square root of 4.

Question : Find the area bounded by the curve y = x 4 + 1, the y-axis and the lines y = 1 and y = 3 in the first quadrant, correct to 2 significant
figures.

Answer : 1.9 units^2
