Question, will the buses be a lot worse at Central from next week?

They seemed pretty decent during O-week, but obviously not a full load.

How early should I get there? i.e. what's a typical wait time

I would suggest you get there an hour early, i.e. if you have a 9pm class, get there by 8pm-because you are most likely have to wait for at least 20 or more minutes before you get on a bus due to enthusiastic first years all wanting to go to every single lecture.

Typical wait time (not joking) up to 40 min and expect more during exam time

I think they fixed the problem of buses last yr so it's a bit less

keep in mind alison road and anzac parade are major arterial roads for the entire eastern suburbs and reducing lanes from 3 to 2 plus 40km/h speed zones will make traffic very very slow.

Also at green square traffic is very heavy because the clearway and bus lane is not enforced in the mornings.

Last year was a bit better (likr 2%) but still had to wait up to 30 min for a bus

if u can try catching an alternative bus like 393, 395, M50, M10 but also keep in mind that these busses will also fill up very quickly. Try to also go to another station apart from central like circular quay where the L94, 392, 397 busses start

in all do expect to be waiting quite a bit for a bus and travel times

Also without fail there are 100% guaranteed to be accidents on anzac parade because of dumb cunt drivers who are looking at their phones and this causes quite a bit of congestion as well.

after 9am say if you're getting to uni at 11am things should return back to normal by then (but the frequency of the 891 express bus also decreases)

Also, it is OK if you are a bit late to lectures

Some of the older years have compulsory classes (tutes/labs) which are more important to get to on time, so if you can, get to uni a bit later.

Will I get access to lecture recordings from previous years, (I'm starting uni next week)

If not, do second years get access to their first year recordings ?

If lectures aren't recorded for a subject I could just grab em off a second year student or smth

Do any Commerce students 2nd year + know whether or not they give print outs of the lecture notes for 1st year compulsory subjects??

Should be able to log into uniwide with zid/zpass
