Adv Math and Commerce "WAM" Boosters? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys, made a thread in the ASB section but have a few more general questions about subjects considered WAM boosters.

This is my first semester at UNSW, and I enrolled in the following subjects:
MATH1141
SCIF1121
FINS1613
ACCT1501

I chose SCIF1121 over MATH1081, as I was warned discrete was the literal opposite of a WAM booster. I took FINS1613 over ECON1101 because I was interested in the subject but was later told ECON1101 is also a "wam booster".

Can anyone recommend some WAM booster topics for Adv Math / Commerce for the future, and should I replace any of my current subjects? My main concern is that FINS1613 might be more difficult than I considered for my first semester.

You're going to have to take MATH1081 anyway, and ECON1101 as well. With that said, apparently FINS1613 is easier in second semester.

Take MATH3411 when you get to it.

the idea of wam booster for core subjects is stupid

you're going to have to do the course eventually anyway so it's just about you managing your time well during the semester to get the best mark
