So i recently received my atar which i think should secure me into the B. Applied Science (Diagnostic Radiographer), and ive done a bit of digging around and came to the conclusion that there is a decent demand for radiographers and it has a decent pay (although ive also heard it can get very boring).

However, what i havent seen on either the USYD course description or online is whether you are able to become a sonographer. I understand that it is probably going to take another few years to become a sonographer but how and where do you apply to be one if you wish to branch into it from B. Diagn Radiographer?

Is it also true that a sonographer earns more?:blink2::blink2::blink2:

Sonography is separate all together, you can do a sonography course at TAFE and do not require the radiography degree. Or you can do it after you have done radiography as a diploma at USYD.
