most new textbooks arent cheap... but you can definitely buy 2nd hand ones that are in topnotch quality

I have Physics books for sale right now, on Bored, if you are looking for any.

I recall when I was young, I always wanted only brand new text books. On looking back, what the hell for? Especially, nowadays, you have new editions being churned out every few years. Just get used books, use them for a couple of years, resell them. You will find your textbook costs will be a fraction of what you'd otherwise pay. Of course if you have too much money to burn, you can always get brand new ones, like I used to.
