Nah, I intend on finishing them in the next 1.5 years.

I've been doing a combinations of bus/law subjects last two years.

Well I still expect you on the thread so I don't get lonely ;)
Of course, of course [emoji1] tbh, I like the MQ thread... With our active 3 peoples and 2-3 occasional posters, haha.

PAL? Is that the extra classes that go through the previous weeks material?

I've never had the time to go [emoji17]

That's them! If you ever get a chance, do you.

The amount of times that the entire class had no idea what was happening and the PAL leader explained it, has been insanely high for me.

Uh my brain has turned to mush.

I'm so glad my parents are back soon because I really don't think I'd cope with them being gone much longer and having exams.

I literally did my whole part in the group assignment completely wrong, and only today found this out. I've been re-doing it all day, but my brain is just not clicking into gear. Ive got so much shit to do tomorrow I really, really don't know how or when I'll manage to do it all :spin:

Does Macquarie allow an individual to study law as a single degree? Because I know UNSW requires that an individual espouse the law degree with another.

Ahaha, sweet.

I was looking at some law degrees, and I saw 'international law', which intrigued me. However, I've been told to combine law with something like commerce, can I still specialise in 'international law' or what happens?

I was previously doing a B Laws, at that time I was required to pick a major in law - there is an international law major there.

In Comm/law your major in the commerce side.

I see that if you did arts/law you could major in international law: http://courses.mq.edu.au/undergradu...or-in-international-law-and-global-governance

Damn, I had my heart set on doing Comm, if I were to do Comm and Law can I still practice international law?

What does Arts usually entail?

Of course. All law students do the same core units (Priestley 11). It's up to you to seek out international law related work experience and establish yourself in your chosen career path.

Arts/humanities students study ideas, movements and theories in culture, society, history, language, reasoning and more. Extensive reading and research helps arts students to form a broad understanding about the world around them and the ways in which humans connect and interact.

You have a lot of flexibility in selecting what major and electives you want to do in an arts degree - so I can't accurately advise you what is involved.

If you want to see both double degree structures see: http://mq.edu.au/public/download.jsp?id=195001

I finally got my report and presentation marks for Accg224. Very happy with my marks so far going into exams for this and Accg355.

I think ISYS301 is worrying me the most. I hate the unit and we only submitted our last assignment yesterday, so I don't think I'll get that feedback before the exam :(

Has he told you what is in the exam yet?

IMO it wasn't difficult. Once question was very hard, and he did warn us. However if you had attended your lectures and tutorials and studied, you could at least get some marks. Iirc, it was like 2 or 3 dot points at the bottom of a slide which made it really difficult if you didn't know. The rest of the questions were very much like we had been doing in class.

Have you been attending PAL?
