I don't know what to drop. I am doing mathematics extension 2, and a current year 12 said that extension 2 overlaps with physics. Currently I am:
1st in legal (weak cohort but I am above 90%)
4th/15 in Physics assessments (68%) and came 8/15 in yearly exam (55%).

I don't like physics all that much, so my initial thoughts are to drop physics.
Thanks in advance.

E: I also want to do an advanced mathematics course at university if that makes a difference, but I thought physics was not much use except for engineering

Look at topscores for previous cohorts performance in externals.

From the sound of it, you should most likely drop physics.

Alright thanks I'll need to see the course at university to see if it recommends physics.

You don't need Phys for Adv. Maths. Physics doesn't help that much for 4U Maths anyways. Just the basic foundation/concepts.

Someone that I know in the year above, probably exaggerated how much physics overlaps with 4U then which got me worried in the first place. Thanks! I have made the decision to drop physics in favor of legal.
