What subjects are you planning on doing in Year 11 and why?
Lemme start

• 3 Unit Maths - Maths is love, maths is life
• Adv English - Wish I had a choice, might drop to standard if too hard
• Business - Interested in doing something business management/economics related
• Economics - ^^
• Construction - Knaaaaaaaaaaaaaawledge
• SLR - To get my 12th Unit, would've done Legal if my school didn't cap it at 12 units

Stay with Advanced English. It is similar in "hardness" and the aligning is much better then Standard.

Stay with Advanced English. It is similar in "hardness" and the aligning is much better then Standard.

Yep, don't really wanna drop to standard, but if the difficulty is similar might as well stay in advanced.

Hmm, to continue with Grade 11 subject selections, I'm currently running with:
3U maths- Maths 4 life
Bio, Chem, Phys- Science 4 ever
No idea on which English
and maybe music 2, music ext. 1 (currently going for my cMuS in Piano ^^)

I currently go to a non-selective public school (cherrybrook). I am already studying the sciences (and maths- tbh, i spend half of my time on this forum consistently refreshing the prelim maths help thread to see if there's anyone i can jump on) in advance, so its a no-brainer for me to do these subjects in grade 11 (I just enjoy maths/ sciences). My teachers are alright, and i guess its a combination of both ^^ (Grade 10 science is so boring)

oh hi. Science at Cherry is great! And tbh, our English teachers are pree good too so I think you should go with Advanced and drop to Standard if you don't like it
