I started to learn chess properly once, from I think a Bobby Fischer book, but then I never ended up reading more than a chapter or two

17. Bd3 was an accident wasn't it...

Also I'm wondering if 15. Qb3 may have played out a bit better

yeah... that costed me big time.. fuarkkk..
I did a bit of analysis after the game ended, I think 17. Qb3 would've worked

Then, either 17. ... Rxb7 18. Qxb7 Bxa1 which would let the game be even, or they blunder

17. ... Bxa1?? 18. b8=Q Qxb8 19. Qxb8 Ke6 20. Qxa7

I've seen aggressive, but that is not it.
I didn't really play aggressively; I took some material by tactics but when you were on the offence and attacking my king I was more focused on holding the defence. I just used the material advantage as an aid.

I wasn't attacking your king out of choice though. There were no other lines I could see at the time.

Ah well. Better than that one time I fell into a 7 move checkmate. XD
