Hi,

Does anyone know if attendance is recorded for WRIT1000 or WRIT1001 lectures?

Are you actually trying to ask "can I get away with not attending lectures"

My usual response is attendance in class is just as compulsory as getting a pass.

quite possible to get Ds/HDs without attending a single lecture

to answer OPs question. probably not but i havent done those ones

For any other subject Id stress the importance of attending lectures.

No they are not recorded. They are also the easiest subjects you will ever do at uni. I did WRIT1001 last semester and didn't attend a single lecture and got a HD LOL.
