Hey everyone, does anybody know any good courses that are really easy and can boost my WAM? I've heard PHYS1160 (intro to astronomy) was good, but apparently it's become harder and harder because many people had done it to simply boost their WAM. Does anybody know any other electives that are easy? Thanks.

I did GENT0508 (Music on My Mind) as a Gen Ed so if you have played an instrument before or have an interest in music psychology, you might want to consider it.

You could, state what degree you're being forced to do right now as opposed to what degree you would like to do.

I'm doing Comp Sci/Arts but would like to do Combined Law.

I've pushed off the intense math stuff to 2nd semester/2nd year (if necessary) so that I can do the easier stuff in Comp Sci and Arts.

I currently still need 6UOC so I'm looking for something that I can get an easy HD in.

About to finish PHYS116 summer course. It's a WAM booster if you put effort into it. Most likely averaging a HD once results are finalised. As long as you contribute to discussions frequently and Google the quiz answers - a distinction is guaranteed and HD is likely.

Since you want to go into law, maybe pick some subjects that will align with what you're combining with?

Bringing up an old thread but thought I should since I did well in the GENY0003 Summer course :) Got a HD- just got back the marks Especially easy if you are good at writing essays! (But not critical). Quite a few second language students do it. And the GENY courses that run throughout the semester are more interesting than summer ones haha.

PHYS1160 is also super super super easy (a massive WAM booster with effort). Got 99 for that one! As long as you put in the effort, you score great. (Don't even need to listen to the lectures- look through the slides and past questions. Work in groups of 2-3s to collaborate answers. Final essay is pretty much the main hurdle.
