Does anybody know, maybe got band 5 in the last couple of years? I checked the raw mark database and there's literally 2 marks from 5-10 years ago, which is absolutely useless. Thanks in advance

I don't know about Standard but I know for Advanced last year a raw mark of 64 aligned to 80 (and 79 aligned to 90) so idk take what you can from that
I reckon 75 sounds right, as previously said

not much of a difference, 75/105 would still likely yield a band 5
It's almost a 5% difference, like I think I would struggle to get 75% with 71% being a lot more achievable

70-71% raw is about band 5 in standard English. Generally, it's a 2 mark difference between each essay (i.e. for the equiv. advanced mark, you need to get 2 marks higher in standard english for each paper II essay. Reasonable and fair)
