Yes! It's super effective. MAke sure it's specific though. Don't just say
8-11 Math
Set out what past paper you will do!
12-3 English
Specify what essay you're going to refine!

Specificity is key when it comes to planning, else nothing gets done.
My plan actually doesn't specify times. I think this is better for me, because then I just have things I need to complete in a day, and can work longer if I need more time etc.

But yeah it's specific, as I have specific goals for each day (to complete). I think I needed to structure everything just to calm my nerves and to make sure I'm well prepared.

What are you guys doing the day before exams? I've only put whatever subject the test is on that day in the morning (random past paper or study) and total rest in the afternoon (to be calm, have food) so my brain is effective the next morning. Oh and actually I put 'light revision / read study notes' to do before bed.

I'm also curious how many past papers everyone is doing / will have completed by the exam. I know @hecticsandwitch said you're doing 99 past papers lol dunno if serious?

Oh that's fine, I personally work best when I have my day planned to the minute but that's just me being a control freak. I've worked well off lists in the past! How are you finding it so far? Are you getting everything done?

And ahahahahaha ofc I'm serious. My mate's brother did it and he was telling me about it, so I thought hey, I'll just steal this idea to get some self discipline going lel.

I have 27 left (with one more to do today) so that means I've done 72! In retrospect, that's a lot of past papers ahahaha.
That's crazy (good).

And I only developed my plan today... hahaha. So we'll see. So far it's alright.

FFS, I'm roasted in english advanced. Can't remember any quotes, haven't written a Hamlet or GBTWYCF Discovery essay yet (to memorise). For Module A, I've got a list of ideas, quotes, and techniques but again haven't written an essay to memorise. The only one i have a memorised essay is Module C: Auden poems, but even that isn't a great essay but it will do. It got 19/20 the first time, and 16.5/20 the second time (question was slightly different and didn't have enough time to finish my related text.)

RIP 90 ATAR. Hopefully Bio, Phys, Math can carry me..and Chem.
Bruh those raw marks are really good! Just work through it slowly. 19 days till it starts. Plenty of time for 5 essays.

Yeh MOD C was my only good module in the trial (because it was the only essay I had a memorised essay prepared lol). I didn't mention I also have to write and learn a creative because my other one got 11/15.

Or the fact that for Bio, Chem, and Physics I only know the first 2 focus of the option topics.
But if the innate quality is there, then surely, with enough effort, you can reproduce essays in similar modules?

Well time to get grinding for those sciences man, good luck!

What's with all the 'awaiting copyright' shit on all the past papers!!!!? Most of the last pages on the engineering exams have them so you can't do about 20marks worth of questions.

It's BS, they never update it with the copyrighted material. If you don't have the right to reproduce it don't put it in the exam!!! It's the same for me with modern, none of the sources are printed so I can't access 1/4 of the paper!

Just did a independent paper for bio and I must say it was the worst exam I have ever attempted in my whole life! If the HSC is as hard as this one then I am done.
