Good luck!

I found the start of the HSC to be really stressful nevertheless i was insanely excited and motivated. I've kept steady marks and ranks in all my subjects but for PDHPE and legal. I was on an all time high and then bam screwed up one assessment task and dropped a fair few ranks. I still haven't gotten over that lol. I found that I significantly improved from year 11. From being the underdog all throughout high school, to coming 1st in two subjects in yr12. Now I'm near the end of the HSC I'm feeling less stressed, because I know what uni course I want to study. And I realised the ATAR is not be all, end all. I hope that helps, just try your best and enjoy it while it lasts!
How was the transition to the HSC? I mean, you said it was quite stressful so I'm just thinking to myself, were you bombarded with work as soon as you got in, was it because you had too many units etc etc... There are alot of factors, but yeah I can understand why it may have been stressful. I guess when you have a goal that you want to work towards to its much more easier to focus on what needs to be done so I assume that helped you a lot! Well thankyou, there's only a matter of ~3+ weeks until I start the cycle of the HSC. Good luck with your studies!

I need to use situations like yours in order to realise that anything is possible through dedication/mindset.
You've got a good shot at getting and B6, you've been really dedicated as well to this subject over the past year now.

You'll be fine. Similar to what Chris said in prelims I was ranked 23 in PDHPE now I'm ranked at either 5,6 or 7 place. Cannot be certain until I get the final report.

Yeah I am at the moment I am on track just have to go better at mc lol
You've definitely got your head in the game.
I struggle with simply writing a response. I know my content but I cannot write it to fit the question. I'm loosing silly marks.

Thanks for your previous response,

I was just curious on what core and option you found most enjoyable? And also, which parts of the course did you find dry?

Overall my favourite would be Factors Affecting Performance.
Honestly I don't enjoy studying the options. There is so much to study but only a few possible question combinations for the long responses.

Yeah definitely I get what you mean, there is so much content to go through as PD is mostly rote learning but question can be specific and that's what you have to nail. Also, I never learnt much from my teacher (in fact I don't even remember my teacher standing up and writing on the board to teach the subject), everything I have learnt in PD up until now is just by rote learning by myself. So in saying that, is HSC PD like this as well, you don't actually need a teacher to actually teach the course do you?

Everything is basically rote-able and it can only take you so far in this subject- correct me if I am wrong as you people are like 95%+ finished the course haha

You basically summed up how I study, I read over my notes a lot, I find reading them out loud helps me. I memorise the syllabus and do past papers. I find I don't learn much in class cause we only write notes out. However my teacher is a past HSC marker so she knows what band6 standards are. And she'll go over and beyond to help her students out.

My fave would have to be improving performance! As I liked the sports section with technology and drugs! I also liked sports med and most of factors affecting performance but didn't like the nutrional considerations dot point as for me was a bit bland! However, every core and option is pretty good

My options suck - a pain to study because they're so dry. I really wished I'd done improving performance and sports med :/
