Hi, I currently have all my subjects in the first week of HSC, besides maths which is the second week wednesday. I'm currently freaking out to the point where I sleep with anxiety knowing there's just a month and a half away from the actual HSC date. Is there any possibility of requesting a change in my timetable by shifting subjects to a later date? Any ideas on how I can do this?

Can't be done: people post the exams up almost immediately after they're finished so you'd have a massiv advantage. While it does suck, all you can do is study really hard for it and do the best with the cards you've been dealt. But TBH, it's not like you should be studying at that point: you should know your content inside out by then, so having them all in one week is probably not the major disadvantage that you believe.

Coming from a year 10 student, can I ask is there any pattern to when the hsc exams are on? Like are sciences usually all in one week and maths the next, or is it totally random?

No, and it's very unreasonable to request something of that sort. There are thousands of students in the same situation as you, and unless you are clinically diagnosed with anxiety that would affect your exam performance, there is absolutely no way you could make such a request.

differs from year to year.
English is always up first.
usually one science subject is the end of the 3rd week.
maths 2u/4u tends to be the middle of the second week.
after the third week, is only minor subjects. Most of the major subjects are in the 2nd or 3rd week with the exception of English.

No it won't be able to be done simply because the government will not shift timetables to just suit one person. As unfortunate as this is-you should try to relieve your anxiety-seek a specialist for help if needed and just try your best to plan your time really well and study as hard as you can. Relax a little bit-sometimes if you get too stressed you won't be able to perform your very best-so it has a counterproductive effect.
