i am currently in hsc and doing physics

im 6th from like 19 with an overall of 75% with first having a 91% overall second with 90% and 3rd 85%
i was wondering if i did really good in hsc and tried very hard would i have a chance of getting band 6 (low) or high band 5

Have you done your trials? That's a huge mark up. Maybe you can try gaining your ranks with that.
Other than that, you shouldn't be expecting a miracle.
Just work harder (not smarter) on your HSC exam and hopefully you'll get a well-deserved mark.

Of course you can.

Your HSC Mark will be determined by your EXAM MARK (solely determined by YOU) and your ASSESSMENT MARK (determined by performance of your peers and your rank).

So, your best chance is to study your ass off, to bump up your exam mark and work together with the rest of your class, push them all up as that could help their exam mark and hence your assessment mark.

If you're getting <80% you need to work harder
If you're getting >80% you need to work smarter
If you're getting >95% you need to work on your essays homie

make sure you understand every dotpoint.

do past papers to pick up your weaknesses.

help out your cohort and study together (I assume your internals are over).

How can i raise my physics mark to a band 6. I got 83% in the CSSA physics trial.

I struggle a lot with multiple choice every time, usually getting between 12-14/20.

No matter how many multiple choice I do the same thing happens. Any hints.

MC is an indication of your knowledge, rather than roted information (in Phy anyways)
i.e. do you REALLY understand/know how to apply Lenz's law in all situations??? (Check past hsc, notorious for these weird lenzs Qs)
