Good to know I'm not the only oneI ended up doing that during my trials :/
I'm epic-ally failing this cram maths ext thing

Yeah but what happens if my final sentence answers the question? It would be easier and better if I were to memorise it wholistically.Doesn't matter because your linking sentences on exam day will be geared towards the given question anyways.
So it's a blessing in disguise, in essence, since it forces you to attack the question [emoji14]
The english teachers at my school (who also are HSC markers) say that sometimes they don't even read the conclusion (when marking for HSC), and if they do, it's usually just a skim over it to make sure that it's half-decent.The HSC English markers generally only read your Intro + topic sentences anyway.
I finished all three with 40 minutes remaining 6 pages for each i feel so screwedSuch relief, the questions were awesome for all three modules except for mod c, the question was a bit weird. I also finished all my essays with 7 minutes left to spare
I wrote the entire booklet though, so that's 8 pages each. My mod a finished on the final line of the entire booklet, the teacher was waiting to give me an extra booklet because he thought that I would need one, but I just flipped the booklet over and began Mod b, lol the look on his face.I finished all three with 40 minutes remaining 6 pages for each i feel so screwed
The booklet was 7 pages long... i finsihed all except last pageI wrote the entire booklet though, so that's 8 pages each. Edit: The questions were open-ended, didn't you write your generic essays? Btw you are the only person that I know that finished 40 mins early, everyone else I asked they just said that they spent 30 mins on either mod a or c, and spent 45 mins for the remaining two essays, and they finished with like 3-8 mins left.
How about the questions? What did you think about them? The booklet was 7 pages long... i finsihed all except last page
What was your mod C question?Such relief, the questions were awesome for all three modules except for mod c, the question was a bit weird. I also finished all my essays with 7 minutes left to spare
My prescribed text was Brave New World, and iirc the question was something like "Through the representation of people and politics, how does it reveal 'truth' within texts". Kinda weird, but my generic was initially based on the complexity of the human condition, and just changed it around so it talks about the revelation of truth within society. What was your mod C question?
Hamlet question was good but Mod C was wtfHow about the questions? What did you think about them?
It was like how is truth related to power or someshitMy prescribed text was Brave New World, and iirc the question was something like "Through the representation of people and politics, how does it reveal 'truth' within texts". We get ours back on Thursday, should have all subjects back by Friday.People who have done trials, have you gotten your marks back yet? I've gotten a few back today and am quite content . Terrified to get my chem mark back tho
850-1000 wordsOut of curiosity, how long should an english essay be for the modules under exam conditions?
Oh ok. I was a bit worried when I was reading 8 pages per module question (I usually write only around 5pgs)850-1000 words
for me with my scrawly handwriting, that's about 4.5-5 pages, but for others with huge handwriting, it might be closer to 7 or 8.
