How much will maths impact my ATAR? (1 Viewer)

Hello, I am currently doing 10 units in my HSC: Economics, Advanced English, Geography, Software Design and Development and 2U Mathematics.
My Current Average in each class:
Economics - 90+%
Geography - 90+%
Advanced English - 80+%
Software Design and Development - 90+%
Maths - About 45%

My question is, how much will maths drag my ATAR down, if my marks do not improve? Thanks for any help.

I'd say that Mathematics will drag you down.. Maybe consider moving into general mathematics?

I know at my school people could drop even just before the trials. The school can calculate using st dev/marks for remaining assessments.
So he might be able to.

Although you are going well in your other subjects, maths could really drag you down unless you start aiming for atleast a band 5 result by the HSC. It's not too late to improve that mark and your Trial exams + external HSC exam could see you ending up with a band 5 result if not a band 6. If it stays at that mark your really disadvantaging yourself so you best think about changing that and studying more in your maths.
