Ah now I remember how to do Question 8, I forgot that you have to use the product rule, thanks for that. But for the first picture, the answer you put was just 1/2, do you mean 1/2 ln (x^2)? $$\int_{1}^{2} \frac{1}{x^2} dx$$=\frac{1}{2}$ \\\ $ Q6. $$\int\frac{x}{x^2+3}dx$$=$$\frac{1}{2}\int\frac{2x}{x^2+3} dx$$=$$\frac{1}{2}\ln{|x^2+3|} + C$$ $ \\\ $ Q7. $ If $\log2=x$ and $\log3=y$, then $\log12=\log4+\log3=2\log2+\log3=2x+y.$ $ \\\ $ Q8. Use the product rule to differentiate. $ )

Sorry for the dodgy LaTex, fixed it up now. The answer is 1/2 since the integral is -1/x, no logarithmic function involved.

Ah that's my problem, I'm so used to doing logarithms literally every question I do I think it involves logarithms, thank you for your help.

I have two white boards, one medium-large and another medium-small, the one you see in the photos I post is medium-small, it's portable and I've been using it for about 4-5 years, that's why you see tape on the edges, it's quite old. The medium-large one I think you can get from BigW, but the medium-small was was bought from a Chinese shop.
