Re: Official Soccer thread.

Newcastle United supporter
Started supporting in 2008/09 (got relegated that season)
Have experienced so many ups and downs it's not even funny
Very disappointed with the club's state of affairs
Went to the friendly against Wellington Phoenix and it was incredible (quite emotional as well as two of our supporters died in MH17 on the way to New Zealand)

Such a good season :') (and that Championship season too. Sure we were in the second tier, but so many good vibes).

And this match...

Re: Official Soccer thread.

Favourite player is Marco Reus :speechless: :speechless:
Haha how good was Reus' and Aubameyang's celebration with the Batman and Robin masks?

A-League: WSW.
EPL: Manchester United.

Favourite player has to be RvP. His style is amazing.

Money talks. If someone payed me 18 million a year to move out of the cold dreary Manchester winters to sunny madrid I'd take it in an instant. And I've been supporting United my whole life ahahaha. Would you not do the same?

Re: Official Soccer thread.

The Football Association has banned Manchester United's Jonny Evans for six games and Newcastle's Papiss Cisse for seven matches for spitting.

HAHAHA....GOOD OLD JONNY EVANS
He's dreadful anyway, if it means Rojo can play more at CB and less at LB that makes me happy. What on earth was LVG doing taking off Shaw half-time today?

FA CUP SEMI-FINAL DRAW

Bradford/Reading v Arsenal
Aston Villa v Liverpool/Blackburn

Thoughts on the draw? Have Arsenal already got one hand on the trophy?

All of those teams have one hand on the trophy.

How about Schalke and Real Madrid today?! It was an amazing game to watch! Such a shame Schalke didn't progress..

Re: Official Soccer thread.

How do Manchester united fans feel after that loss on tueday.... :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I knew that we always should of kept Welbeck...I know that salary was an issue because we spent so much on Di Maria Falcao.... but this year Falcao is the biggest waste of money.... It doesn't look like he's ever gonna get back to the form he was in when atletico madrid where Falcao scored 52 league goals in 68 games..

Anyway..I do think that Arsenal have a hand on the trophy already but you never know.
Welbeck is dreadful and was silent all game besides a flukey chance off a back pass, he left because he was 4th choice striker behind wilson and after Falcao was coming 5th choice, wage was never an issue. I agree though, Falcao's never going to regain that old form after those injuries.
