What were your 2014 resolutions and did you fulfill them?
What are your resolutions for 2015?
What are your resolutions for 2015?
1. Did not happen lel.- Lose weight and get some abs (get to ~80kg and ~11-13% body fat)
- Make the Dean's List
- Get employed at Abercrombie & Fitch (notsrs but a little srs)
- Be more giving
- Be more socially active at uni
- Get my P Plates (yeah I'm like 2 years late)
- Pick up the guitar again
- Work hard enough to be considered on the executive of the Bsoc
- Swear less
- Read 2 books that aren't textbooks (srs, I haven't even finished the 1 book I was reading all of last year yet)
- Read at least one article on The Conversation or watch one Ted Talk a day
Congrats about the offer, that's great!Re: My NYR for 2014 - 2014 New Years Resolutions & Progress
1. Did not happen lel.
2. Ditto.
3. Ditto.
4. I think I did well here.
5. Definitely achieved.
6. Achieved.
7. Nope.
8. Did achieve.
9. Sort of achieved.
10. Did achieve (Love in the Time of Cholera and Of Mice and Men).
11. Sort of achieved, missed a few days but always binged on others.
Also one that I added during the year was get a job in a law firm.
I am very happy to say that I achieved this and my boss has already offered me a graduate placement despite me being only going into my 3rd year in 2015.
Overall, if I had lost some weight 2014 would have been a gem of a year, but I'm really happy with how it went (except for academically - it was one of my poorest years to date).
How was Love in the Time of Cholera? I got that on my reading list. Also if you enjoyed reading Of Mice and Men, maybe give the movie (the 1992 version) a go. I watched it when I was very young and to this day it's still a tear-jerker! Well done on the placement offer!! Such a precocious child...Re: My NYR for 2014 - 2014 New Years Resolutions & Progress

Haha you know you're doing New Years resolutions right when all you have to do to make the next one is transfer the last years'! But that #4 is going to be a regular feature from now on unfortunately :-(Congrats about the offer, that's great!
My 2014 resolutions were:
1. Read at least 10 books
2. Be organised
3. Procrastinate less
And none happened. Ha.
2015 resolutions:
1. Read at least 10 books
2. Be organised
3. Procrastinate less
4. Not be sleep deprived
Wishful thinking, right? Haha, I'll take your word for it.Haha you know you're doing New Years resolutions right when all you have to do to make the next one is transfer the last years'! But that #4 is going to be a regular feature from now on unfortunately :-(
Good job on the goals! My 2014 NYR were:
1. run 10k non-stop by the end of the year (I don't run at all and I have not consciously exercised in 2013)
2. limit social media to 1 hr max each day
3. read 60 books
4. get an HD average at uni
5. keep in contact at least once per week with my close family/friends living overseas
1. Yeah..nah.
2. Yes! Facebook is still deactivated and it's the holidays - such great restraint!
3. I've read 30 according to my Goodreads account so that goal of 60 was a bit idealistic.
4. Close but no cigar. But very close... Something like 84.
5. Could be better.
My highlight/s for 2014 would have to be meeting my baby niece for the first time - she adorbs and does this funny twerking action a lot. And getting into lateral entry medicine which was a really cool surprise!
My 2015 NYR:
- run 5k non-stop
- join a social sport club at uni
- read 30 books
- get dat HD average
- walk to and from the local train station every day (not get driven)
- get minimum 8 hours sleep each night
- volunteer 5 hours to any worthy causes each week
- be nicer to my family
Yea that's about it. Good luck on your lists every body else!

Um i guess 2015 NYR:
Continue working way up corporate ladder
Spending less $$$ on going out (did a budget and was by far largest expense)
You're supposed to challenge yourself with NYRs...2015:
1. Get swoler than ON
Care to share anything on your bucket list?Well I made a bucket list and hope to tick off a lot of stuff, but no pressure to do it all in one year.
Haha its easier said then done hey mate.Thank you

Didn't really get into Of Mice and Men. I only finished it because it was a short read . I'm told I should read The Old Man and the Sea though.
And thank you!
Thanks
Good luck with the climb and the spending less. I've got spending less on my NYR list too and I intend to carry it out more than anything else on my list.

here is a portion of it. Some realistic and unrealistic goals.Care to share anything on your bucket list?
I managed to achieve a fair bit off my bucket list last year, which was also a NYR and that was in terms of travel.
