I wonder if a subject can really drag someone's atar down majorly, if an individual does well in their other subjects.

I mean, someone told me that you needed an aggregate of approx 470 to get the top ATAR. So in an extreme example- doesn't that mean that ~if~ someone gets 99 in each of their 2u subjects for 8u, they would only need to technically get a 74 for the remaining 2u? o3o

EDIT:
by the 99 mark thing, I meant after aligning, scaling and/or other processes that BOSTES puts the marks through to make it fair.

um i'm pretty sure that's not how it works lol

the aggregate is a universal measure of how well you do compared to another person, taking into account the difficulty of subjects undertaken. For instance, getting a 90 in ME2 is not equivalent to a 90 in SAC - thus the existence of an aggregate to take into account how much that mark is worth in determining your ATAR.

Why have you already started?

Take a break dude

I'm not doing any work at all until next week Monday

Some aren't doing it until New Years
gotta make the most of the time you have from now until the HSC, time is precious, especially during your final year.
