If I'm ranked one and I get 58/70 but the highest in my cohort was 62-63/70, what would my HSC mark be as a 2/3u student?

Also these marks out off 100 for the raw mark database, if it says 95, is that 47/50 or 48/50?

I think they round up to 48, but don't take my word for it

I'm just guessing from the fact that if you got say, 45 and 46, when they take the average for your overall, they round 45.5 to 46.
Sorry to hear about SOR :/
Yea I know that, probs won't get e4 at this rate :(

Currently on 70/70 (after you told me your solution for parametrics) but i'm expecting the marker to take one off somehow

assume 68?
definitely 49. possibly 50 depending on how the rest of the state do but not a guaranteed and not super likely, most probably 49

They get your HSC mark for your HSC exam and your HSC mark for your internal rank, and average it. So find the HSC mark that a 58/70 would get, add it to the HSC mark a 62 or 63/70 would get, and find its average. The HSC mark you'll get will be out of 100, just divide top and bottom by 2 to get it out of 50.

I'm looking at 60 - 62 / 70 raw mark and my internal rank was very strong. Is it possible to get 48/50?

Is it possible to get 94 with 56-59/70 raw
let's hope!!!! I think that raw mark would probably get you 92, 93 if you're lucky. Maybe 94 is pushing it, but considering that this year's exam was harder than previous 2 years, i reckon 94 could align to a 58/59 raw :))
