2012 Extension 2 HSC Paper (1 Viewer)

Hello, I'm currently doing past papers for study and whilst doing the 2012 paper I got really concerned when I was unable to do a lot of questions 15 and 16 as I just couldn't work out what they were asking for OR I just didn't know how to do it! Curious if anyone has any worked solutions to them other than sample answers and marking guidelines from the board of studies because their solutions are confusing and I don't understand much of it :L.

oh wait you might need to amended version as the original Terry Lee's solution (the one on the web) has an error.
here is one with the amendment using BOSTES solutions
