So, I was playing snap with my 3 year old daughter with 'Frozen' cards and something pretty cool happened.

36 cards
9 groups of 4 cards
There was no SNAP until the VERY LAST card.

What is the probability of that?

Pretty cool :)

I actually got excited...

My wife hit me...

3 times.

I deserved it.

Help.

Haha, seems cool!

What are the conditions for the Snap to occur?

2 successive cards must be of the same 'group'. So the probability that the first 34 successive cards are all from different groups, but the final 2 cards are from the same group.

I wish I had a calculator!

And my wife would stop hitting me..

Are the 4 cards in the same group identical to each other? This is quite interesting.

LoL! Q1 in 2u exam mebbe!

Whilst not identical, they are 4 cards of the same character from the film, so they cant really be paired with anything else. So, I suppose we could treat them as being identical? :)
