anyways, back onto topic; there has been some research to suggest that listening to classical music does in face help with studies because it "unlocks" more parts of the brain, but one should do what's best for them

personally no, everyone is different in how they respond to music, some people can focus better but i seem to get completely distracted by any music or noise in general.

I don't listen to music when I study. I want a quiet environment because I cannot concentrate on memorizing my lessons.

Cannot concentrate with music. Anything that I need to use my brain, I do not listen to music, that includes math.

I sometimes listen to asoftmurmur.com which are just background sounds.
