How many band 6s do i need for an atar over 90?
Im currently doing:
Ancient History
Chemistry
Biology
Advanced English
3U math
Ext history

Depends how well you do in your other subjects
Assuming you got mid to high band 5's you could very well achieve an atar above 90 without any band 6's

that's not so bad. one classmate got 79 in english/bio/maths, 89 in cafs

I got 99.94 problems but the HSC ain't one

i got 1 b6 and got 96, its all about how you do in the others (especially english) and scaling.

I have seen ATARs in the 90s with no Band 6s and students with 2 - 3 band 6s and ATARs in the 80s.
