Generally No. Yes publishers do make mistakes but it would be more likely that you made a mistake.
I put their answer in and it was the same as mine but mine was a negative answer...
What do you mean by "absolute value"? My solution was very straightforward and I didn't need to use absolute values and I don't see where one would find it necessary to
