Oh yeah, have all of their albums and they were what first got me into metal (maybe about 8 years ago?). More specifically, Chop Suey was the one. Still listen to their songs to this day.

Love all their albums, especially Mesmerise, Hypnotise and Toxicity.

Yeah they are great. And I'm glad they always inform people about the genocide

Thoughts on Serj and Daron going to do their own things?

I quite liked the albums they released individually. Still had SOAD-esque elements to it. Clearly, Daron was in control of the more 'crazy' songs from SOAD such as This Cocaine, whereas Serj was more in control for the more melodic songs such as Roulette.

I wasn't aware of that. I thought the band reunited recently. Or you mean they are doing a side project

The entirety of Horizons is fantastic. Still my favourite PWD album.

Anyway, I will list good songs by five different artists for variety. I think a question that might be easier is list your five favourite metal ALBUMS.

It's so hard to just pick five songs lol.

Has anyone heard the latest Moonsorrow album? One of my favourite albums of the year. Either this or Terminal Redux.

And might as well include Terminal Redux as well:

Oh yes I know Batushka, I also like that a fair bit, and I actually downloaded that Inquisition album today, haven't listened to it though. Never heard of Hecate Enthroned, I'll give them a listen.

Yeah that and Obscure Verses for the Multiverse are quite good from them, not a big fan of their latest however. Yeah hecate enthroned I just randomly found them one day through the youtube autoplay, have loads more random bands found like that so I dont even have a definite list, but i always manage to return to that hecate album.

Haha good ol' youtube. I've only really started to get into black metal around April, which was when Jumalten Aika was released. So I'm guessing you would have a much larger list of albums than me.
