I.hate.biology....its so boring and the teacher really pisses me off. they're never clear on anything they want us to do and just the topic we have been doing is so boring >.>

Haha, yeah this. But I'm staying just for the year 12 course as that looks more interesting, that is, genetics and whatever.

I pretty much teach myself Biology as my teacher just mucks around and his marking for tests as bullshit.

i do bio because....well i don't really know actually. i think i wanted to do two science courses because i was thinking of studying science in uni. i didn't want to do physics so i chose chem and bio. year 12 course does look more interesting.
i have self taught myself science the past 4 years and managed to get either 1st in the year or 2nd in the year for pretty much my whole junior school life. I have no idea what is going on in bio atm, so I'm just teaching myself bc my teacher is just awihgruejknfsvdijefd

Can you do a double degree in science and music? Because if that's what you want to do, then I'd suggest you look into it.

Keep on teaching yourself - besides, in senior years you realise you need to spend more time doing independent learning.

yeah idk how that would work, i may be able to..but i didn't take music as a subject for these next two years.
I don't even know if i want to study science anymore tbh.
my whole mind is a mess, i don't know anything anymore.

Does anyone else here use the Maths in Focus textbook?
You know at the end of the chapters how there is a Test Yourself section and a Challenge Exercise? Do you think the Challenge exercise is aimed more at the 3U students?

I use that textbook and I do think that some questions in challenge can be quite hard and if you are a 2u maths student I think it would still be beneficial to do them. They'll prepare you well and you'll have no random questions you won't be able to do in tests. If you are having difficulties with them, I'll be more than happy to help! I do 3u btw.

I use the same book and yeah i'd say in the 3U test that i had the questions were similar to those in the challenge however there were also more difficult ones which i don't remember being like the ones in the challenge, most likely from Cambridge as the questions there are really aimed for 3/4 unit students

i cant concentrate :'(
its taken me almost 2 hours to do 5 questions in maths because i just cant stay focused on this crap.

Rest for an hour or two-like sleeping, before doing any work, otherwise you will continue to have low work efficiency as well as poor health. Take care of your body
