Does USYD Engineering allow credits from previous UNI like UTS Engineering?
How is it done?
Also is transferring to USYD from UTS purely on GPA basis?

Cheers.

1: yes. If a subject you passed at another university is "reasonably close" in terms of syllabus, length you get credit for the equivalent unit at usyd
2: you apply, http://sydney.edu.au/engineering/forms/Credit_Application_for_Previous_Study.pdf
3: uac create an equivalent ATAR based on your gpa, and usyd (usually) uses the greater of (the equivalent ATAR) or (the mean of (the equivalent ATAR) and (real HSC ATAR)).

Thanks for response.

I will be applying as mature age applicant transfer.

Can i apply with 1 full semester or does it have to be the full year (2 full semesters) ?

Say the uni you're transferring to or via applying through UAC through the same uni, does the uni know your subject results for the unis studied? Or is it just a down simple one GPA-ATAR equivalent that UAC gives to the uni?

The uni and uac does have your complete set of subject by subject results, but it makes no difference. The gpa conversion is the same regardless of the institution or marks.
