Well he wrote it, composed it and it is definitely his non plagiarised ideas, so it is his intellectual property (until 50 years after he dies).

He can do whatever he wants with it.
For starters you are quoting US law. Copyright in Australia lasts 70 years after the person's death.

Secondly, as a teacher anything I produce for school is automatically copyrighted to the department of education. It is one of our conditions of employment. Technically anything I produce for a class of mine can't be used for tutoring without the permission of the education department, and all such sheets can be used by any other teacher in the department in teaching their classes without seeking my permission.

In a similar vain, you and everyone who did the HSC signed a waiver to your IP rights. I'm not sure how far this goes, but you definitely can't distribute the PDF of the responses you were sent. I'm not sure whether it applies to typing up answers, but I would be modifying them considerably to be sure.

Its almost as if the asians are getting more and more intense at studying
Not really.

I was struggling to get 80/100 raw at home when I marked, even though I was marking according to the scheme and harshly, but in the final HSC I got roughly 86/100 raw (going of others marks) for 92 exam mark.

However in Chemistry I was getting around 85/100 raw when marking and somehow I only got roughly a 74/100 raw in the HSC paper (and got 19/20 mind you in multiple choice going off someth1ng's solutions).

The marking was really nice and lenient for 2013 Physics, but was teh same as always from other years for Chemistry. Also, there were absolutely NO curve balls in the 2013 Physics paper what so ever, with the exception of the really hard multiple choice (I got 14/20 going off Fizzy's solutions derp).

And I'm guessing to state rank Physics, you needed 95/100 raw, whereas in 2012 you needed 91/100 raw.

Chemistry state rank would have been 90/100 raw for 2013 probably, which is similar comparatively to other years.

And Haya you're back!!!

Where have you been lol?

Of course.

But usually when people mark their own paper they mark very nicely and leniently as I must have done with Chemistry.

I really do think they changed the method that Physics is marked now. I mean usually compared to other years a 75/100 raw in Physics gets a Band 6 and an 86/100 would get a 95.

Give a friend your account details and get them to pay for you. (Then pay them back of course)

all my friends are not eligable for credit cards as all of us are still under 18 (my self included :()

i asked my dad of he could use his work credit card but i dont think he would be able to justify it on his expenses.

i have a debit card but when enter the details is basically says "card not valid" :( is there something wrong with my bank? (I am with ANZ - I would understand if that was the problem lol)

Check with the bank and go to them in person to see if they can fix your debit card system.

I used my debit card and that was fine (though I'm with Commonwealth)
