any tell me how to do question a
The height is 1.2 so sub everything in for the trap formula
1.2/2(1.5+2(1.8)+1.5)= 3.96

for part 2 you just sub in for simpsons: 4.08

What did you gusy get for the reason for why trapezoidal is better, i always thought simpsons was more accurate?

I said something like the shape of the tent was similar to trapezoids, the shape the trapezoidal rule uses to measure area whereas the simpson's rule uses are under a curve. Bs'd it

Damnit. Instead of of doing I just squared both terms, forgetting the middle term so I got y + 4. FML
