I just found the area of triangle using 1/2 ab sin(x) and multiplied it by 4i. Then I expressed z and w in mod arg form and found the LHS. It then equalled in the end.someone explain the geometrical complex question. zw'-wz' = 4iaz

Ahhh will proably beat u too!It wasn't that bad imo. You just use right-angled triangle trigonometry basically. It is just conceptual, but once you understand what is actually happening, it's fairly straight forward.
Anyway:
1) forgot to answer a multiple choice (said I would come back to it at the end, nope)
2) drew the hyperbola wrong lols
3) forgot to substitute tan(x) back in for 'u'
could have had 90+ raw fuck

ah i let z=x+iy and w=a+ib and it worked out for me tooand
Then you just do some algebra, i.e. when you multiply two complex numbers, you multiply their modulus and add the angles. It comes out easily as the area of the triangle. And you just work out the area of the triangle as:
