What do you think the band 6 cut off will be?
apparently last years was 81/100 ? :S which seems weird considering it was really easy, but this one seem hard as.

This was already answered in the previous thread. Most people agree on 75-80 for a band 6 cut off.

77 definately, 81 for an easy test, 76-77 for a hard test. i think in retrospect many people got a lot of questions wrong

quick question what is the approx cutoff for a band 4 or 5?
Cos I am really worried that I wont get at least a band 4 as a requirement for a scholarship that I was offered :S

band 5 cut off is probably 62, i really can't tell, b4 would definately be 40-45? or something

Fingers crossed B4 is from 45% because That's probably my Raw mark LOL.

If last year was 81....and last year's paper is THE EASIEST maths paper I came across while studying.....then going by that, I'd say the cut-off for THIS YEAR...should logically be around ~75.....It really should be....it was not an easy test...

even people who usually get 90+ raw marks were admitting after the test that they did not get anywhere near a 90 raw mark.....hence, expect the B6 cutoff to be quite low

alot of people are really exaggeration, last year's paper wasn't super easy but agreed mult choice + 60% was easier. i say 2013 paper is about 10%-20% harder

Bro..in all seriousness, without any exaggeration....you can start a poll if you want....THE 2012 MATHEMATICS HSC WAS THE EASIEST EXAM EVER....(though I probably am exaggerating tiny bit by saving 'ever'..but you get the point.....)

2013 was quite tough.....definitely 2012 was the easiest...got 95 raw when i sat it as practice
